Exbet.io rolls out blockchain sports betting exchange

Exbet.io is ambitiously calling itself ‘Betfair for Bitcoin,' offering a unique opportunity to place sports bets while betting against other members of the exchange.

The exchange is starting with a one percent flat rate commission, hoping to offer a better product overall and definitely posting a better rate than any existing blockchain exchange.

Participants will be able to bet on and pick from a number of sports and major sports leagues, including the NFL, NBA, Premier League and others.

Exbet has integrated APIs to help provide consumers with a better experience and reliable odds and lines in real time.

Exbet COO David Evans said:

“With the sporting calendar back on track, we are thrilled to launch Exbet, the world’s first fully-featured and licensed Bitcoin betting exchange. Betting exchange users have, for too long, been neglected by a handful of operators more focused on short-term gains than the long-term health of the vertical.”

Evans believes Exbet's timely entry into the market is important as it allows the company to tap from a vast experience of similar projects but also leverage better solutions that favour the consumer, such as lower fees and better overall user experience.

Exbet will be rolling more activities and markets relating to the betting market.

If you want to bet on a traditional blockchain sportsbook in the meantime, we recommend picking from Cloudbet, Sportsbet.io or FortuneJack.
