Bitcoin exchange Exbet prepares for real Bitcoin ‘soft launch’

Exbet, the Bitcoin betting exchange, is moving ahead with a live, real Bitcoin test period from September 25 to 28 – a so-called “soft launch”.

Following this soft launch test period, Exbet says that it intends to hard launch soon after, subject to any technical and product feedback it receives during the test period.

Exbet will operate the betting exchange under a Curacao eGaming licence with all bets denominated in Bitcoin.

David Evans, COO declared:

“We're very pleased to take this one last step towards full launch. Since reaching out to the Bitcoin betting community we have been hugely encouraged at the interest we have seen for Exbet from recreational and professional punters alike.

“We are really proud to have attracted a group of supporters who will be putting Exbet through its places during soft launch. Once we take stock of their valuable feedback, it will be time to open the Exbet doors to the rest of the world.

“We believe that Exbet will offer something that the crypto gambling space hasn't seen yet – a full-featured, crypto-native betting exchange with professional-grade API support for custom trading tools. If you want to trade sports with crypto, Exbet is the exchange to watch in the next 12 months.”

The “soft launch” test period will be available to a limited number of participants who will be able to make real Bitcoin wagers and access all of the features and functionality of Exbet.

Online sports betting remains strong despite the lack of spectators and we recommend Sportsbet.io, Cloudbet, and 1xBit if you are looking to place a wager.
