$100m generated from NFTs in 30 days

The crypto and blockchain gaming industries have created a mini-revolution with non-fungible token sales booming to the point where over $100m collectibles have been sold in the last 30 days alone.

The statistic, provided by CryptoSlam, includes numerous popular NFTs such as NBA Top Shot, Hashmasks, CryptoPunks, Sorare and CryptoKitties.

What started as a collectibles hobby has turned into a multi-million industry, with the outlook supporting further positive developments.

reported $63,545,961.38 in sales in the past 30 days, up 1,525.23% with 28,869 buyers. Hasmasks retained its present rate of $22,351,667.59 and 1,436 buyers.

Sorare saw a 111.31% spike with $2,654,202.69 sales generated over the past month and 2,585 buyers. The majority of these NFTs are based on the Ethereum network, which has given the crypto ecosystem an additional push.

Coming up with new gamification options has proven a success time and again, despite some untoward fees occasioned by network congestion. As noted by IOI Corporation in the past, NFT-based gaming is at the core of gaming monetization.
