UNLV funds US igaming study

With the rapid expansion of legal gambling options in the United States, there have been a lot of questions that need answering, the UNLV specified, and the survey would focus on finding those answers.

Specifically, the survey will look into key points that policymakers are still uncertain about or need to bring up altogether. There will be examination of what online gambling and sports wagering are and how to understand them better.

The study will tap into scientific information to inform conversations and take a deeper look into how the current market operates and what can be improved. Specifically, the survey will hopefully help the United States, and businesses hoping to operate in the country for years to come, how to achieve the necessary sustainability.

The study is funded by GVC Foundation US, a non-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing responsible gambling in the country. Commenting on the state of the industry, Martin Lycka, Trustee of GVC Foundation US and Director of Regulatory Affairs for GVC Holdings, explained that US gambling was at a crucial point.

Lycka argued that the US market was one of the most dynamic and quickly developing, demanding a specific approach to help pinpoint the value for consumers and businesses.

Commenting on the need for good policies, Alan Feldman from the Distinguished Fellow in Responsible Gaming at IGI and Chairman of the International Center for Responsible Gaming argued that an “effective public policy” always relies on an evidence-based approach.

The United States is a somewhat belated adopter of online gambling, but the industry is growing quickly, and that requires a fresh pair of eyes. Some of the biggest companies that are yet to bank on the country's new-found love for online gaming are crypto casinos.

Brands such as Bitcasino and BitStarz are some of the world's best and they have come up with a comprehensive and diverse offer of great casino games and online gaming options in general, which would likely appeal to the US market.
