Zone launches blockchain gaming platform in Kenya

Users can earn money through a range of triple-A games supported on the platform.

Blockchain gaming company Zone has launched a crypto-gaming platform in Kenya.

The web-based gamefi initiative built on the Algorand blockchain promises instant pay-outs and low transaction fees, ensuring trust and transparency to its users.

The platform combines on-chain gaming challenges, NFTs, and yield farming to create a play-to-earn ecosystem using the native Zone token.

Players can earn cryptocurrency rewards for their gaming skills, earning more than $500 per month by playing the firms’ triple-A games Zone Fantasy and Zone Games, and competing in hyper-casual games, esports tournaments and fantasy sports in cricket and football.

Additionally, gamers can compete in a solo or multi-player games within the Zone platform for pre-set prizes.

The platform also grants players the opportunity to pay participation fees via paid pools and earn rewards alongside purchasing gift cards from the Zone Marketplace.

“We are revolutionizing gaming through web3 gaming which is now popular globally. Zone allows even basic players to earn back what they have spent”, said Zone country representative Avhit Bij. “As they specialize, they inevitably earn more.”
