Zebpay returns in India with Disney+ advertisements campaign

Tapping into a popular sports event, Zebpay Bitcoin ads have appeared on the Indian localisation of the Disney+ Hotstar streaming platform.

The ads prompted users to pay just $1 to set up their accounts at Zebpay and benefit from various cryptocurrencies.

The advertisement on Disney+ represents a pivotal moment for crypto advertisement in India as a whole with some 300million people tuning in on the Hotstar platform for the 2019 edition alone.

Zebpay was allowed to reopen in the country in January, a few weeks ahead of a revised opinion by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), which allowed financial institutions to continue providing banking services to crypto firms.

However, the RBI may be pushing for another move against cryptocurrencies and exchanges and could try to impose another ban on these services, Bloomberg warned earlier this year as reported by CryptoGamblingNews.

The Indian Parliament is adjourning on September 23 to possibly discuss the issue of cryptocurrencies.

Policy 4.0 CEO Tanvi Ratna has said that no crypto ban would be introduced during the legislative session, as he hasn’t caught wind of such moves planned by the government in the first place.

While the threat of cryptocurrency bans and solutions is present, some companies have been pushing for solutions nevertheless.

Bitcasino.io, FortuneJack, and 1xBit Casino are great examples of crypto gaming portals that offer great bonuses and opportunities.

Zebpay returning to India will presage big events in the crypto gaming space. There is no doubt about that.
