Yolo Group makes Joe McCallum B2C director of gaming

The William Hill veteran joined then-Coingaming Group back in 2017 as its head of customer assurance.

Gaming and entertainment innovator Yolo Group has promoted William Hill veteran Joe McCallum to the position of director of gaming for B2C.

He is relinquishing his current role and moving into the new position to help the company steer towards a more successful future, iGamingNext.com reported.

McCallum will be tasked with overseeing both the sports and casino B2C departments and work with a few prominent brands that operate under the Yolo umbrella, including LiveCasino.io, Sportsbet.io and Bitcasino.io.

Part of his former duties and responsibilities within the company will be handed over to Stuart Weston, who is stepping in as director of Sportsbet.io at Yolo.

Weston is also a William Hill veteran and spent 18 years working for the prominent British bookmaker.

He is joining from his most recent position as part of sports tech and data company Sportradar. Weston has worked with a few other leaders in the igaming sector, such as Superbet, SG Digital, GiG and Pragmatic Play.

Yolo Group rebranded from Coingaming Group in September 2021. The group owns several prominent assets in the blockchain and igaming space and has been one of the biggest innovators in the sector.
