WINk replaces CEO Julia with Lucia Wong

The sudden change in management comes after the WINk community began to turn on Julia, accusing her of failing to deliver on promises. According to WINk's official tweet, more clarity on the situation will be offered as part of an AMA with the website later tonight, July 1.

Responding to the tweet, Tommy Mustache thanked WINk for listening to investors and the WINk Community in general, arguing that missing deadlines constantly has put people on edge. The last straw, Tommy said, was when the Dice listing didn't happen.

Public firings aren't usually the case in the blockchain community, let alone in the gaming sector. Yet, WINk felt it appropriate, responding to Julia consistently missing deadlines, and letting investors and stake holders down.

The present situation is an opportunity for WINk to clean up its act and regain the trust of its community members. One or two stake holders used the announcement to report that they had had difficulties with their accounts for a while now.

More information will become available in the upcoming AMA tonight. For the time being, it's safe to say that calling on such publicity, WINk must be prepared to live up to more scrutiny than before. The latest website overhaul has been a positive step in the right direction, though, which may provide the community with some good sentiment.

Should WINk slip, it might inflict irreparable harm on its reputation. In the meantime, the world of blockchain gaming is filled with opportunity. There are multiple companies you can go to and bet cryptocurrencies on igaming products, including BitcasinomBitCasinoCloudbetBitStarz, and other top-ranked blockchain portals.
