Wheel becomes inaugural #UltimateStakeGame

Starting earlier in June, Stake.com asked its followers to decide, by knockout poll, what its ultimate crypto casino game was.

With 12 games bracketed at the start, the rounds have since progressed and a winner has now been announced: Wheel.

Stake.com allowed players to choose from the following games in the #UltimateStakeGame tournament:

  • Crash
  • Slide
  • Limbo
  • Diamonds
  • Mines
  • Blackjack
  • Slots
  • Keno
  • Dice
  • Roulette
  • Plinko
  • Video Poker
  • Hilo
  • Wheel

And Wheel claimed the title earlier this week after overcoming Hilo in the first round, Plinko in the second, and then it beat Keno to land a spot in the final against crypto casino favourite, Blackjack.

Perhaps an underdog in the final, Wheel came out on top, showing how the wheel-of-fortune/roulette crossover game holds major sway with the crypto gambling audience.

Blackjack had a more traditional route to the final. With it being one of the most popular casino titles around, it was always likely to feature in the latest rounds, and in doing so, it knocked Mines out, then Limbo, and finally Slots before succumbing to Wheel at the death.

A notable mention should go to Keno, which won more likes than Slots to win the bronze medal match.

Although very much a playful tournament to engage followers on its social channels, the tournament has unearthed some interesting findings which confirm what we already think about crypto gambling behaviour compared to traditional casino players.

The likes of Roulette and Video Poker, both casino classics, both fell in the first round, while it was perhaps also surprising that Slots didn't make the last two.

On the other hand, unique-to-crypto games like Crash and Mines also fell at the first hurdle, so how much we can read into this experiment remains to be seen.

Stake.com offers all the games it listed in #UltimateStakeGame, but you can also play premium versions of the same titles at the likes of Bitcasino.io, CasinoFair and FortuneJack.

With all offering a variety of crypto deposit options and provably fair technology, there's bound to be something on offer whatever you like to gamble on.
