WeMade partners with Metagravity

The collaboration will see both firms work on building blockchain games for the metaverse.

South Korean video game developer WeMade has partnered with London-based metaverse engine developer Metagravity.

The two firms have signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) to help support WeMade’s vision of building a well-connected system for players to enjoy reliable games on a vast platform.

Through the MoU, WeMade hopes to promote collaboration between Metagravity and Wemix 3.0; an EVM-compatible protocol powered by a stake-based proof of authority consensus algorithm.

The Wemix 3.0 platform is designed to act as a robust and efficient service-oriented public blockchain, maintaining the balance between the general concerns of decentralization, security and scalability.

WeMade’s overall focus is on personalizing users’ gaming experiences by building “a data center-scale decentralized metaverse infrastructure” to provide the “core technologies for building a metaverse”.

Both companies hope to fulfil their goals of boosting the adoption of blockchain and metaverse technology.
