True randomness arrives on ETH mainnet with Chainlink

The feature known as VRF has been now officially incorporated into the Ethereum mainnet and it will stay there to ensure consumers' peace of mind.

VRF is a trusted method for Ethereum transactions to be safer, argues Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov.

Speaking to Cointelegraph, Nazarov said that he knew that people had already been testing it, even as a beta solution.

The first aspect of the launch is focused on a gamified app, PoolTogether.

Nazarov has been developing VRF for several years with his team and has acknowledged the changes that have forced the team to patch up progress and introduce new aspects of the experience.

Yet, the true purpose of the project remains unchanged, and Nazarov is looking to create a true method of generating randomness and thus increasing consumer trust in Ethereum-powered solutions.

Since Ethereum is an increasingly popular solution among gambling and gaming websites, VRF is a timely solution to the issue of trust in the blockchain iGaming sector.

Many websites now support Ethereum solutions and VRF can be a great way to reassure consumers that an ETH gambling site is safe.

Some of the most popular ETH gambling sites we recommend include Bitcasino, FortuneJack, and 1xBit.
