The live stream, which is also on YouTube, was held by Justin Sun, the CEO of the TRON Foundation, who elaborated on the platform and outlined what was to follow. In the video, Sun described the decentralised exchange as “accessible to all” and an actionable alternative to the Ethereum-powered rival of JustSwap, UniSwap, which recently added $BERPO.
The launch of JustSwap is another example of TRON's move to compete directly with Ethereum. The latter has been gaining momentum, thanks to DeFi technology. The same relentlessness has been picked up by TRON which is also trying to expand on DeFi.
While TRON’s JustSwap is picking up steam quickly, some have industry insiders have issued a fair warning not to invest too rashly. The platform reached $10million trading volume within the first 19 hours.
However, TRON and Ethereum are both looking into other segments. For example, TRON’s bulkiest dApp at this moment is WINk, a project which has attracted some controversy around itself.
