A collection of officially licensed original Star Wars Stormtroopers will be released as NFTs later this month.

Supremacy Games has teamed up with Tyranno Studios and Shepperton Design Studios to bring Stormtroopers to Web 3.0.

Based on the original Star Wars characters, the partnership will offer dedicated fans of the franchise access to a full series of NFT drops focused on the Galactic Empire soldiers.

Supremacy Games will launch the 10,000-strong NFT collection on Ethereum on 27 October giving more Star Wars followers than ever the chance to purchase their little bit of cinema.

Tyranno Studios chief gaming officer Michael Rubinelli said: “We’re delighted to be helping Supremacy and Shepperton Design Studios bring the iconic Original Stormtrooper designs to fans of the franchise and present them in an entirely new way to a new demographic. The addition of future utility in an upcoming game makes this drop even more remarkable.”

There’s no doubting the credentials of Shepperton Design Studios with Andrew Ainsworth from the company part of the original 1976 Stormtrooper costume design team.

He still reviews all designs for Original Stormtrooper officially licensed products on a global basis to ensure the quality you have come to expect remains throughout the years.

Supremacy CEO Jari Pauna said: “Back when the first Stormtroopers were first produced, nearly half a century ago, Web 3.0 technology would have seemed like something from a Sci-Fi movie.

“Now, thanks to our agreement with Shepperton Design Studios, fans of the Original Stormtrooper can own their very own digital version of this uniquely recognizable character.”
