Sportsbet.io wins sponsorship award

Blockchain betting platform Sportsbet.io has collected SBC Gaming's Sponsorship of the Year Award 2020 for its strategic alliance with Watford FC and other English soccer clubs.

The accolade was awarded as part of the Annual SBC Awards and marked the successful branding strategy Sportsbet.io achieved by partnering up with English Premier soccer club Watford FC.

Sportsbet.io has been recognised for its success in bringing the Bitcoin logo to 4.7bn potential customers, with the asset displayed on Watford FC's shirts, stadiums and social media channels.

The operator has had a string of successful partners over the years from the world of sports, but its alliance with Watford has been equally beneficial to the bookmaker's own marketing strategy as well as the mainstream acceptance of cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin.

Sportsbet.io has been able to seal other pivotal partnerships recently, becoming the official betting partner for Arsenal, and expanding its clout in the world of soccer as a legitimate purveyor of betting odds, news, and not least, blockchain solutions.

In August 2020, Sportsbet.io teamed up with Southampton, marking a year of pivotal developments and legitimizing blockchain betting to mainstream sports fans.
