Spielworks adds three million users to NFT platform

After launching its token on Polkastarter, the crypto gaming start-up hopes to increase its visibility in the Web3 space.

Blockchain gaming start-up Spielworks has announced its NFT platform has reached three million user sign-ups.

Out of the three million sign-ups, nearly half a million signed up over the last two months following its token launch $WOMBAT on the Polkastarter (POLS) decentralized finance (DeFi) launchpad.

Alongside the success of the launch, which sold out in under two hours, the DeFi ecosystem holds 65,000 daily users, has partnerships with four blockchain games and recently hired Stillfront co-founder and former Starbreeze Studios CEO Nicklas Dunham as chief commercial officer.

The ecosystem incorporates a multi-chain non-custodial Wombat App, crypto rewards on its platform Womplay, and an NFT staking game named Wombat Dungeon Master, counting over one million NFTs.

“I’m really proud of our dedicated team at Spielworks for working so hard to accomplish this tremendous milestone. Reaching three million is an amazing achievement, but it’s easier when you have a great team and an amazing community that enjoys our diverse offering of games said Spielworks CEO Adrian Krion.

“We will use this momentum to continue pushing forward, reaching new users, and building great games for everyone”.
