South Park’s latest movie blasts crypto

Popular animated series South Park has released a new featured movie in which they continue to poke fun at cryptocurrencies.

‘South Park The Streaming Wars Part 2’ has painted an unflattering image for the industry, with the characters musing on questions such as “what if we replaced water… with pee?”

South Park also made fun of a Crypto.com advertisement featuring Matt Damon who told people that ‘Fortune Favors the Brave’.

The show runners replaced the slogan with ‘Fortune Favors Matt Damon’, clearly suggesting that the actor had ‘sold out’. Damon was also advertising… pee.

Much of the movie was spent on poking fun at celebrities who had backed non-fungible tokens (NFT) with famous people such as Gwyneth Paltrow featured in the satire. Larry David who endorsed “pee”, the unorthodox simile for cryptocurrencies in the movie.

Naomi Osaka was also featured in the movie because of her brand ambassadorship for FTX, as was Reese Witherspoon.

South Park has taken the new episode to further extremes piling on its conviction that cryptocurrencies and NFTs are a scam.

Some celebrities had it easy, as LeBron James, Jimmy Fallon, Paris Hilton, Tom Brady and Stephen Curry were spared an appearance in the latest movie.

You do not need to endorse cryptocurrencies to enjoy them. You may want to play at websites recreationally. Great bonuses await at 1xBit, FortuneJack and Bitcasino.io.
