SOFTSWISS secures first B2B Tobique gaming license in Canada

SOFTSWISS serves multiple gaming operators under various international licenses

SOFTSWISS, a leading igaming software provider, has obtained the B2B Tobique gaming license, marking the first of its kind issued in the Canadian jurisdiction.

This license, granted by the Tobique Gaming Commission (TGC) in collaboration with Differentia Licensing Advisory Group Limited (DLAG), authorizes SOFTSWISS to conduct business activities for a duration of one year.

Situated in western New Brunswick, Canada, the Tobique First Nation, a sovereign indigenous community, administers online gambling licenses through the TGC under the Tobique Gaming Act of 2023.

The B2B Tobique Gaming License extends the opportunity for businesses to engage in international operations, paving the way for establishing a global presence.

This license encompasses various categories of real money betting, spanning sports, casino games, and lottery, offering notable advantages such as a streamlined application process, reasonable pricing, and prompt acquisition, according to SOFTSWISS.

Yuri Sharapa, head of country projects at SOFTSWISS, expressed his appreciation, stating:

“Acquiring a new licence is a remarkable achievement for us, signifying our dedication to offering our clients a diverse range of options. We are proud to announce that one of the companies under the SOFTSWISS brand has become the first company to secure the B2B Tobique iGaming Licence.”

Graham Martin, chairman of DLAG, echoed this sentiment, saying:

“The DLAG team is pleased to announce that the first Tobique Licence has been granted. The Licensee is under the tier-1 international brand, SOFTSWISS, in our industry, recognised for its leading products and services. These are exciting times for both the gaming world and Tobique!”

SOFTSWISS, which boasts over 15 years of experience in the igaming sector, serves multiple operators under three international licenses: MGA, CGA, and Kahnawake.

Additionally, the company holds several national licenses and certifications, including the recently acquired South African License through the acquisition of Turfsport, a prominent South African betting software provider.

In a strategic move aimed at penetrating regulated markets, SOFTSWISS's Casino Platform and Sportsbook obtained GLI-19 and GLI-33 certifications respectively last year.

Moreover, the company's Jackpot Aggregator recently launched the Evo Prime Drop campaign in collaboration with Evolution Gaming Group AB, aiming to enhance player engagement and showcase captivating games integrated with Evolution.

In February, SOFTSWISS, was also named Crypto Company of the Year for the second consecutive year at the International Gaming Awards in London, recognizing its pioneering role in integrating cryptocurrencies into online gambling.
