Roobet courts Snoop Dogg as ‘chief Ganjaroo’

The crypto casino has signed one of the best-known faces in rap, and a web3 and blockchain entrepreneur himself.

Raw Entertainment, the parent company of crypto casino Roobet, has signed a deal with rap legend Snoop Dogg.

Snoop Dogg, who is one of the most prominent faces of American rap music, has entered the partnership as Roobet’s “chief Ganjaroo”.

Both the rapper and the casino welcomed the opportunity for this collaboration.

The rapper’s decision to join Roobet and help it promote its products and reach bigger audiences comes a year after Snoop Dogg revealed himself as the enigmatic NFT collector  Cozomo de' Medici.

De’ Medici had amassed a respectable number of NFTs, which were a bit of novelty at the time.

Snoop Dogg also owns land in metaverse projects, which has driven interest in this technology and the projects he populated with his digital presence.

As part of Roobet’s team, Snoop Dogg professes a readiness to “change the game and do it better than it's ever been done”.

He similarly said that people knew what happens when “the Dogg is on it”, suggesting that his previous track record as an entertainer and web3 personality were set to bring commensurable benefits to the new venture with Roobet.

Roobet co-founder Matt Duea was similarly pleased with the arrival of Snoop as part of the team. “Together, we're going to truly revolutionize the online entertainment experience”, Duea said.

Snoop is not the only rapper to go big on crypto casinos. Previously, Drake announced a similar entertainment partnership with prominent crypto betting operator Stake.com.
