Quanta has appointed Kamara owing to his exceptional business acumen and experience in growth, marketing and market acquisition, having also been responsible for several multi-million-dollar global initiatives.
The hire further bolsters the innovative lottery’s senior team, having last week announced that Ian Sherrington has joined as CPO.
Kamara has worked for over 15 years in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa, and has 10 years running several global industries, including blockchain, AI, gaming, fintech, and e-commerce, the company stated in the official announcement.
Furthermore, he has implemented a number of projects for established brands in the gaming industry, including names such as 888 Sports & Poker, BetDSI & Talent, 360Bet, and other clients outside of gambling.
He has also worked extensively within the likes Kenya, Ghana, Uganda, and Nigeria. Commenting on the appointment, Quanta’s CEO Harmen Brenninkmeijer:
“Considering our current plans and activities in Africa, we are certain that John’s expertise and relationships within the continent will surely assist us in growing our brand and recognition among companies inside the blockchain and gaming space.”
Kamara also expressed his satisfaction to be joining Quanta. He will be looking forward to lead negotiations with governments in the region and prove to countries how Quanta can “serve the continent in the Blockchain Lottery and Social space.”
