The move comes as Quanta looks to grow its footprint in the region, having recently appointed John Kamara as SVP African Operations.
In the announcement Deji Enwezor is labelled as an “executive leader and strategy within the gaming industry” with particular expertise in online lottery and sports betting, while stating that he first entered the Nigerian gaming industry over a decade ago.
His career to date has seen him in a number of senior roles. He was a Sports Lotto Consultant for National Sports Lottery Plc, before taking up executive and operations roles at Lagtech, Adasi 777, Winlot Global Resources and Superior Games.
Enwezor will join from his current role of CEO at International Lottery & Gaming, which in itself showcases the expertise that he will bring to the lottery pioneer.
Harmen Brenninkmeijer, Quanta’s CEO said of the hire:
“We need competitive people in our company. In this case, our whole team is very happy to have Deji. He is a pioneer in the gaming industry. We are very proud of what we have today thus we are looking forward for best and brightest future of our company in Nigeria with Deji.”
The appointment will enable Quanta to develop its local strategy in the populous country while it continues to rearrange its token offering to assist with future growth.
