Polygon partners with Xternity

The partnership will migrate the multiplayer web.3 0 game Synergy Land from the Solana to Polygon network.

Ethereum layer-2 scaling solution Polygon has partnered with the web 3.0 gaming development platform Xternity.

The partnership aims to migrate the multiplayer web 3.0 game Synergy Land onto the Polygon network from the public blockchain platform Solana.

While Solana focuses on scalability and cutting costs, Polygon enables a seamless experience with the help of the Ethereum ecosystem.

Synergy Land will focus on bringing web 2.0 users into the web 3.0 world without affecting the community hosted over the previous blockchain.

The transfer of Synergy Land to the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) will be aided by Xternity’s migration tool, a mechanism used to migrate games and projects across chains.

Typically, projects that favour EVM migration tend to operate with an extensive user base with greater credibility and functionality of the Ethereum blockchain.

Users will need to link their Solana-compatible wallets like Phantom and Metamask, burn their assets on Solana and recreate them on Polygon.
