Polygon partners with Ripio for latam expansion

The collaboration will also focus on launching Ripio’s B2B blockchain.

Polygon has partnered with Argentinian digital assets platform Ripio to help extend its reach throughout Latin America.

Polygon will also assist the firm in building its B2B blockchain alongside integrating its swap and wallet products.

“A crypto pioneer in Latin America with 7M+ users, is integrating with the Polygon network”, Polygon said in a tweet.

Polygon defi head Hamzah Khan said: “This partnership is a key step in our mission to expand the use of the Polygon network throughout Latin America.

“By integrating with the Polygon protocol, Ripio's users will have access to a wider range of web 3.0 protocols and enjoy faster and cheaper transactions.”

This is not Polygon’s first instance working with Latin American organizations. In October 2022, the company partnered with the Brazilian neo-bank Nubank on the purchase of its cryptocurrency token Nucoin.

Ripio CEO and co-founder Sebastián Serrano said: “We are committed to our users and seek daily to facilitate access to the crypto world for as many people and institutions as possible. We want to simplify access to web 3.0, which will undoubtedly be the future.”
