Environmentally friendly blockchain gaming project Oasys is partnering with play-to-earn (P2E) gaming guild YGG.
The partnership will see both companies work together to promote blockchain gaming in Japan and utilise the resources from YGG to provide gaming projects on the Oasys ecosystem.
Oasys will act as a Japan-based project and in turn, developers worldwide will gain the opportunity to access the Japanese gaming market.
As part of the collaboration, game developers choosing to build products using Oasys’ services can enjoy marketing and promotional assistance to improve their performance.
By leveraging both YGG and Oasys’ ecosystems, the duo aim to boost networking and growth opportunities in the sector.
Alongside building “compelling blockchain games of the future”, YGG’s co-founder Tetsuya Fujiwara believes the partnership will help provide a wider scope of popularity toward developers, thus increase the chances of an enhanced ecosystem.
Oasys director Daiki Moriyama said: “As the third largest gaming market in the world, Japan’s gaming credentials are well-established.
“With the government continuing to invest in building the local Web3 infrastructure, there is now tremendous potential for blockchain gaming to grow globally with Japan serving as a launchpad”.
