The company outlined its reasons to acquire the bulk of the CBC supply as an opportunity to boost Greentube’s social gaming portfolio. Moving forward, Greentube will begin integration into its own GameTwist brand.
Focusing on social gaming has been of particular interest to Greentube as a way to diversify its portfolio. Presently, GameTwist offers 400 brands and cryptocurrencies are now beginning to appear as an alternative form of payment.
Commenting on this news, Ed Brennan, CashBet Coin President, acknowledged that the latest deal between the two companies was a positive sign in their existing relationship.
Not least, Brennan was pleased with the fact that the adopting of the CBC and its underpinning technology could be seen as a “testament to CashBet’s technical excellence.”
Brennan continued by arguing that with the CBC token shifting into the hands of a global gaming giant, the payment method would benefit from “greater utility.” Late last year, CashBet and Greentube agreed to include the CBC token as a payment solution for Greentube’s B2C social casinos, an exciting paradigm-changing shift for both entities.
Meanwhile, Michael Bauer from Greentube argued that the latest acquisition would really give Greentube teeth to expand how they leverage blockchain solutions in the B2C casino sector.
“We’ve seen increasing demand from players to offer cryptocurrency as a payment option and the successful integration of CBC on GameTwist has demonstrated the benefits of the technology for social gaming,” Bauer concluded.
