Popular crypto sports betting platform Stake.com has awarded one lucky player a bonus of $25,000 as part of a celebratory $50,000 bonus initiative to celebrate passing the 50 billion bets placed milestone.
The bonus was activated and available to players who wagered at least $2,000 in the seven days leading up to the 50 billionth bet.
Stake did not announce the name of the winner but said that it had awarded a $25,000 bonus. Had the 50 billionth bet been a winner, the bonus amount would have been double.
The relevant passage in the T&Cs read: “If the 50 billionth bet is a winning bet, then we will do a $50,000 Bonus Drop shortly after the bet is placed! The requirements for this Bonus Drop will be very lenient, so you'll more than likely have a great chance to claim in the Bonus Drop! If the 50 billionth bet is not a winning bet, we'll still do a $25,000 Bonus Drop anyway!”
Some social media users shared concerns that they were unsure which T&Cs they had to follow as there were several listed.
A recent promotion featuring Dota professional player Danil “Dendi” Ishutin was hoped to appeal to younger audiences. Stake.com has been busy in virtually every aspect of the betting experience, from traditional sports to competitive video gaming.
