Wagerr's weekly betting report is out and some major WGR has been wagered. The activity in this week's report encompasses the period between June 29 and July 5, and it was a busy week with Wagerr players staking a good deal of money on various events.

This week, consumers made quite a few flutters on as many as 348 events with the total betting volume hitting 4,029,744 WGR. This amounted to $107,355 with the net mint/burn standing at 740,982 WGR. The biggest burn was registered on a SK Slavia Praha game, -79,938 WGR, and the biggest mint came on a Energetik-BGU Minsk match.

Most action came for Barcelona FC vs Villarreal, with 261,361 WGR staked. This is a stronger-than-usual week for Wagerr, but not yet the best in the post-COVID-19 period. Considering recent events, though, it's hard to argue that the novel coronavirus is on its way out.

Wagerr has been smart and used the time in the absence of many sports events to introduce some changes to its own platform. Mostly, the company has sought to include more worthwhile and viable markets players for players to place a bet on.

Some events have led to a particular increase in betting volumes, specifically some UFC bouts. Meanwhile, other platforms such as Sportsbet.io and Cloudbet have also been diversifying their own content.

Both websites have interesting options to extend to players who may be interested in betting on more exotic sports markets with bitcoin.
