Microsoft has asked Xbox community members if they would be open to exploring Bitcoin payments.
Based on a Sunday Reddit post in r/XboxSeriesX, Microsoft is running a survey to canvass for gamers' opinions and see on which side of the crypto line they sit.
“Which of these other payment methods would you like to use on Xbox?” one of the questions in the survey asked, followed by Bitcoin as one of the potential answers.
The survey is reportedly available to the Xbox Insider program members who are also testing various updates.
Microsoft's relationship with Bitcoin is not new. In 2014, the company said it would accept Bitcoin to fund Microsoft accounts, so it's a small step from there to charge your Xbox account. Recently, other companies have openly stated their interest in cryptocurrencies.
Morgan Stanley is advising investors on how to manage their portfolios and include more cryptocurrency options.
Tesla also briefly teased that it would start accepting payments in crypto to which Bitcasino.io responded that it would be ready to purchase a vehicle from the car maker using crypto if the option was available.
