The International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL) has launched a new magazine covering gambling laws around the world.
The firm will release the magazine on a quarterly basis and dive deep into the specifics of each jurisdiction's proposed or enacted gambling laws.
IMGL Magazine will be published in partnership with the National Council of Legislators for Gaming States (NCLGS), Clarion Gaming and SBC Gaming.
The issue will feature articles by gambling experts from five continents who will bring their savvy, know-how and industry knowledge to a global audience.
The magazine will touch on varied topics, including India's burgeoning fantasy sports market, the development of African regulatory frameworks and the evolving gambling scene in Australia.
Loot boxes and the newest gambling developments in New York and Hawaii are other interesting topics that will be covered.
The magazine will also pay a close eye to the ongoing Gambling Act 2005 review in the UK and focus on other essential markets in the European Union, and the region as a whole.
Commenting on the upcoming magazine, IMGL president Marc Ellinger said: “The IMGL Magazine sits alongside IMGL Masterclasses, Regional Conferences, Semi-Annual Conferences, including virtual conferences, to offer the broadest array of educational opportunities in the gaming sector.”
The IMGL's stated mission is to bring insight and clarity to the ongoing mesh of regulation that is unique to each jurisdiction, helping industry stakeholders better understand each market's specific needs and regulatory prerequisites.
