Hot for crypto: Your crypto wallet makes you attractive

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, more people are looking for a match, and according to a recent survey, 33% of Americans are now more likely to go out on a date with someone who has mentioned digital currencies in their dating profile.

Apparently, the attraction comes from being both well-to-do and savvy about new technologies, an impression that results in greater chances of finding your special someone when online dating.

Another interesting fact is that three-out-of-four people would be interested in a second date with someone who paid the bill in bitcoin (BTC).

The survey conducted by eToro is a bit of an oddity, but it captures an unknown side of crypto and blockchain. It’s sexy.

But BTC is not the only big seller on the meat market. Familiarity and ownership of any digital assets, to name non-fungible tokens (NFTs), seems to produce the right pheromones as well.

An estimated 20% of singles would be more interested in a person who has used an NFT as their profile picture.

It’s not that bizarre. The shift towards online dating made it so that showing off your investments in growth-oriented assets is an actual quality that may lead to more dates. Just watch out because some of those dates may not mean well.

If you are not too sure that you care about landing a date using your bitcoin wallet, then you may spend your Valentine’s Day playing games. Bitcasino, 1xBit and FortuneJack bring you some of the best games out there.
