Hillary Clinton calls for crypto regulation

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has called on authorities to move more quickly to regulate cryptocurrencies, as she fears crypto may be open to manipulation by Russia, China or and other parties.

During an MSNBC TV interview, when she talked about “technology of all kinds” Clinton highlighted cryptocurrencies.

“There’s one other thing that’s on the horizon which people are only beginning to pay attention to, and that’s the need to regulate the cryptocurrency market”, Clinton said.

Clinton said the US should act to prevent manipulation by state and private groups, talking about “non-state factors” that can still destabilize countries or the dollar as a reserve currency.

She brought up the tech used to discredit opponents during election runs and the reach of interest-based groups, such as REvil, an allegedly Russian hacker group that has been harassing American business, which is now coming under scrutiny from the global community.

Some countries have stated that they are prepared to use crypto openly to circumnavigate sanctions imposed on their regimes by the US.

North Korea is reportedly funding nuclear weapons using crypto and Iran is now openly endorsing digital assets to help fight economic penalties imposed by most of the free world.

If you are using crypto recreationally, you may continue to do so at great places such as Bitcasino, 1xBit or FortuneJack.
