Gambla sets out charitable ambitions

Gambla.com founder Erik King has explained the importance of placing bets in Bitcoin and the inherent benefits that players can enjoy as a result.

Gambla, which is a New Zealand crypto website, is already seeing the benefits of going down the crypto road, King argued in the interview with Bitcoin News.

He explained that Gambla's origins weren't necessarily rooted in traditional igaming. Rather, Gambla started as an opportunity for crypto enthusiasts to both play games and give back to the world by donating. Specifically, Gambla uses a portion of all deposits to make donations to worthwhile causes.

As King puts it, Gambla is looking to “involve more charity into the world of gambling“. When the pandemic first struck, many crypto companies rallied and pooled efforts to offer something back.

Bitcasino.io held a charity tournament with the funds going to NGOs looking to alleviate some of the impact of the first wave of covid-19.

The Giving Block became the go-to place on the internet involving crypto to host charity events and support various campaigns. All of this opportunity to be more charitable comes in the context of an improved gambling experience for players at crypto casinos, argues King.

Bitcoin has made it possible to enjoy more optimized gaming platforms he said in the interview. “It is freer and it is not bound to the same extent to regulations which makes it great for unregulated markets as players and operators can have more freedom”, King added.

To bring Gambla closer to its stated goal as a charitable gambling portal, King and Gambla.com are launching the Gambla Green Project which means that Gambla will forward some of the money it gets from deposits to help a global effort and plant more trees.
