FinBet is now officially available for consumers interested in placing a bet on financial assets.
The platform originally launched in a limited capacity in August but is now scaling up to the broader public.
FinBet enables players to place a bet on a particular (financial) asset against fixed odds.
Consumers are asked to predict whether an asset would increase or decrease in value over a chosen time frame and the result produces rewards for those who guess the fluctuations accurately.
According to the platform, it's not just a financial trading platform. Rather, the platform wants to introduce users to an “informed betting” ecosystem.
The website itself serves as an educational resource for people who are interested in learning more about trading and betting on financial assets. FinBet offers tutorials, webinars, educational materials and more to help people make informed choices.
To incentivize communities into participating, FinBet also provides a native token, the CFB, with token holders entitled to share the project's benefits based on the token's value. FinBet uses cryptocurrency to facilitate deposits and withdrawals.
Presently, FinBet is interested in attracting consumers who have a financial, crypto or gambling background. As a new form of entertainment, FinBet said it was prepared for adoption may be slower compared to other products.
