DraftKings teams up with InComm to offer gift card solution

DraftKings, one of the leading sports betting and gaming operators in the US, has introduced a dedicated payment solution known as the DraftKings gift card, which will allow consumers to deposit funds into their accounts or extend gift deposits to fellow sports bettors.

Teaming up with InComm Payments to deliver on a high-grade payment solution, DraftKings' gift cards will be worth between $25 and $50 and available across numerous retail points of sales, including but not limited to 7-Eleven, Sheetz, and Speedway.

DraftKings, which presently rivals FanDuel for sports betting supremacy in the country, is looking into new and exciting ways to consolidate its offer in each separate market.

Commenting on the partnership, InComm's SVP Tim Richardson said: “This agreement not only offers consumers a great gifting opportunity, but also represents a significant brand expansion and enhancement opportunity for DraftKings who, for the first time, will benefit from having its brand present in tens of thousands of InComm Payments' retail partner locations across the US.”

The partnership exemplifies another innovative payment solution adopted by the gaming and sports betting industries. Some operators, such as Cloudbet, FortuneJack, and 1xBit have decided to rely on cryptocurrency solutions, empowering quick payment solutions around the clock.
