Bitkraft Ventures has teamed up with crypto industry research firm Delphi Digital to explore new gaming options.
Bitkraft is a venture capital fund that is focused on the video gaming industry and esports and is now stepping into the blockchain space.
Moving forward, Bitkraft is looking to increase its investment in the sector. The fund, which has around $400m in various assets, has invested heavily in some of the most established video gaming initiatives and companies, including Epic Games, Fuze TV and BitFry, to name a few.
Delphi Digital and Bitkraft will work together to leverage their extensive knowledge of the esports, video gaming, crypto and digital entertainment markets to identify new investment options.
Commenting on the partnership Bitkraft Ventures founding partner Jens Hilgers said: “The open infrastructure born out of decentralized technologies is reaching sufficient maturity to support new business models and content types at scale.”
The news was welcomed by Delphi Digital COO and co-founder Anil Lulla who said that the combined expertise of the two partners should lead to “a compelling value proposition for prospective portfolio of companies”.
