Binance will add three new stock tokens as early as this week, which follow the launch of tokens tracking Coinbase and Tesla's shares performance.
The crypto exchange will now use tokens for MicroStrategy (MSTR) a crypto business intelligence firm, Apple (APPL) and Microsoft (MSFT) to do the same and allow consumers to exchange tokens.
The way these tokens work is to allow consumers to trade “fractionalized units of the share tokens” down to a one-hundredth of a token.
MSTR tokens are going live today, while APPL and MSFT tokens will arrive on April 28 and April 30 respectively.
The tokens will be tradable against the currency's dedicated currency, the BUSD, but they will be beyond reach for several jurisdictions, including the US, Turkey, China and CM-Equity restricted regions.
