Crypto-powered Audius is the first music-sharing protocol that enables TikTok users to share various tracks on the influencer video platform.
All music has been developed exclusively on Audius and will be now carried over to TikTok with a single click.
Audius has been implemented as part of a new feature, TikTok Sounds. According to Audius co-founder Forrest Browning, the integration will help TikTok users to access various songs created with the protocol.
In line with TikTok's new policy that suspends most aggressive forms of crypto advertisement, Audius has focused on boosting the net value for content creators and improving their potential monetization channels as opposed to pushing the crypto angle.
According to Browning, the majority of people, some 95% in his own words, are unaware how blockchain technology powers the solution.
Audius has intentionally targeted TikTok, which is getting close to 1 billion consumers with 75% of its US user base claiming to be discovering a new song through the app.
TikTok still doesn't allow artists to receive royalties for streaming music via the platform, but it helps with exposure and awareness.
Blockchain is everywhere and we often don't realize it. Casino sites such as 1xBit, Bitcasino and FortuneJack use these solutions to accept special blockchain-based payments and enable players to play with crypto.
