Apple is hiring alternative payments specialist

Apple is on the lookout for a new business development manager who has understanding and knowledge of “alternative payments”, including cryptocurrencies.

The job was posted on Apple’s website earlier this week, revealing that the company is looking for an individual who can help it to establish alternative payments partnerships and commercialization streams.

Apple is not looking to directly hire a cryptocurrency expert, but rather someone who may have worked at a digital payment wallet company, such as BNPL or Fast Payments, according to Cointelegraph.

Apple has made no definitive move in the cryptocurrency space as many software giants are now taking it easy with cryptocurrencies.

Microsoft, for example, is discontinuing support for its Azure Blockchain Service, even though the company floated a poll with Xbox users if they would be willing to settle payments in cryptocurrencies.

There has been speculation about Apple’s involvement with cryptocurrencies for months, especially since other big companies began investing in the space.

According to Royal Bank of Canada Dominion Securities analyst, Paul Steves, should Apple invest in crypto, it could “immediately gain market share and disrupt the industry”.

While Apple will take a while to play its cards, you don’t have to miss out on the crypto market. You can dive right into the vast selection of available crypto casinos, including Bitcasino, 1xBit and FortuneJack to name a few.
