8Hours Foundation appoints Michael Katz

The non-fungible-token gaming sector is a new frontline worthy of exploration and has already tempted the interests of some big industry giants, including Atari.

More importantly, Katz’s own professional career took him through some of the largest companies, including as a former president of SEGA for the United States. SEGA is controlled by Atari Video Game Division.

By bringing Katz’s expertise to the table, the 8Hours Foundation hopes to boost awareness and generate higher adoption for its latest products launched under the VIMWorld banner.

The foundation has already successfully attracted executives from some of the biggest gaming franchises in history, including Guitar Hero, Call of Duty, and Tetris. Commenting of the addition of Katz, the company said:

“His industry weight is unmatched, having been part of some of the most successful novel product launches in gaming history. With extensive experience working at the head of Atari, SEGA and Mattel, we are confident Michael's advisory will prove indispensable for our future success, having already led major gaming companies to new heights and product areas.”

Blockchain gaming is becoming increasingly popular. Casino brands such as Bitcasino, FortuneJack and Cloudbet are created entirely on blockchain technology.

Atari, the established gaming giant, has also said that it would seek to release its own casino, courtesy of the proprietor token the company has been talking about.
