South Korean mobile gaming developer Netmarble has partnered with metaverse gaming platform The Sandbox.
Both firms signed a deal to enhance immersive gaming content through the crypto sector and improve the quality of its offering to players.
Utilizing Nermarble’s brands, intellectual property and vision for exploring player opportunities, The Sandbox will “create entertaining new content and collaboration events”, the firm said.
The gaming platform will introduce a Netmarble IP Land into its K-Verse, a 3D virtual space featuring Korean focused-content, culture and entertainment, and support a 6×6-sized plot where players can engulf themselves in a new Netmarble-inspired experience.
The collaboration will also see The Sandbox create items based on Netmarble’s copyrighted works like its upcoming metaverse-based real estate board game Meta World: My City.
“We look forward to delivering a diverse assortment of refreshing content within the gaming platform going forward”, Netmarble said.
“We’re pleased to present Netmarble's representative copyrighted works to new and existing audiences via The Sandbox’s continuously evolving metaverse platform.”
