Nefta partners with Viker to further blockchain gaming

The partnership aims to “onboard Web 3.0 gaming guilds and partner ecosystems”.

Web3 technology platform Nefta has announced its latest partnership with blockchain gaming studio Viker.

The partnership intends to bring blockchain technology to casual mobile games with the goal of building “the world’s largest blockchain gaming community”.

With Viker’s portfolio of play-and-earn and casual mobile games that are already accessible and built into the blockchain, players can earn cryptocurrency while playing their favourite games.

Nefta will provide its end-to-end Web3 technology to Viker to facilitate a deeper blockchain integration in its current and future games.

Nefta CEO and co-founder Geeshan Willink said: “The team at Viker is poised to make huge strides in the Web3 gaming space. They have already made some beautifully crafted games which are ripe for Web3 integration”.

Alongside the partnership, Nefta will also play an important part in the launch of Viker’s Genesis NFTs.

The company will mint the tokens and launch its marketplace, each NFT will give the user instant utility and a greater gaming experience acting as an earning multiplier.

Players will be able to access the NFTs in the first wave of games including Balls King, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and Solitaire.

Viker founder Ben Cusack said: “We started Viker with the ambitious goal of bringing play-and-earn to one billion players, and to reward them for spending time in-game. We wanted to streamline game development while maintaining a high-quality output”.
