Moxy launches $100k Beta Challenge

Moxy intends to ‘elevate’ the industry encouraging esports into everyday gameplay.

Esports gaming marketplace Moxy has announced the launch of its “esports for all” Beta Challenge.

Players over the age of 21 can compete in esports games for native Moxy tokens, collectibles, and a prize pool worth $100,000.

The initiative features on-demand competitive gameplay leveraging blockchain technology to accommodate real-time transactions and ensure players are protected from fraudulent activity.

The challenge is seen as a milestone for the company's future plans and business roadmap.

Moxy aims to “elevate the fast-growing industry” and stress-test the platform for multiple components, all the while gathering esports players to compete in the platform launch and its token generation event.

“The blockchain-powered platform makes esports gameplay available to everyday gamers, with real rewards flowing into the hands of the winners”, said the firm.

Participants can accrue points by winning games against other players while progressing through four ‘seasons’. Only those who reach the end of the fourth season will receive prizes and a chance to win the cash pay-out.

Players will be required to create a Moxy Club account and complete know-your-customer (KYC) guidelines before receiving 1,000 Moxy testnet tokens.

Additionally, users can also earn a bonus 50 Moxy tokens for every player they refer who completes the sign-up and KYC process.
