Katana Inu partners with Boba Network

Katana Inu will provide its clients with multichain solutions to improve blockchain gaming experiences.

Decentralized gaming platform Katana Inu has partnered with the layer-2 Ethereum scaling solution Boba Network.

The partnership will develop gaming experiences combining play-to-earn (P2E) mechanics, multichain support, NFTs, and fast and efficient transactions.

The gaming platform aims to build on the Boba Network to leverage its multichain solution and provide expanded access to its in-game economy. Players can also pick blockchain-based games depending on what suits them best.

Katana Inu users can earn rewards when participating in a range of gameplay and activities. The PC game – set in the third person in a Japanese-inspired world – combines cryptocurrencies, NFTs and battle royale elements.

The collaboration will see the blockchain-based integrated platform create in-game NFTs for the Boba Network, which will be issued and ready for purchase on the Kainu NFT marketplace.

By utilizing Boba Network’s offering of multichain access, fast transactions, and reduced gas fees, Katana players can carry out in-game transactions quickly and cost-effectively.

As a result of introducing new features, Katana Inu hopes to enhance its overall gaming experience and encourage further users to the platform.

Katana Inu founder Marwan Haddad said: “Costly transactions turn many players away from blockchain gaming, and it isn't hard to see why. Gaming should be fun, even if it is a P2E game.

“Our partnership with Boba Network will help bring the fun back to P2E by allowing players to pick a chain of their choice for transactions while exploring Katana Inu's land of Shen.”
