Italian giant Juventus has extended its partnership with Socios.
The Serie A side has enjoyed an ‘innovative partnership’ with the blockchain-based fan engagement platform since initially joining forces back in 2018.
According to a press release from Juventus the partnership has provided a platform that has helped reach almost two million users across 160 different countries.
Juventus Football Club COO, Tiziana Di Gioia, said: “We are delighted to be able to extend our collaboration with Socios.com, a key partner who has brought great value to the club and its fans over the past five years.
“In 2018 Juventus was one of the first clubs in the world to understand the potential of this technology and time has proved us right.
“Today our JUV Fan Token allows us to offer exciting opportunities to our fans on a global scale, and this will further increase in this new phase in which we will expand the catalog of exclusive benefits and experiences that will be available and redeemable for the holders of our Fan Token.”

Juventus was the first to launch an official fan token with clubs around the world following suit as a mechanism to connect fans on a global scale and interact.
Using the tokens, fans can participate in polls, access behind-the-scenes content, and even enter competitions to win tickets and VIP experiences.
