Jimmy Nguyen hails bitcoin’s gambling impact

Recently, Fundstrat had a heart-to-heart with Nguyen who broached on the possible uses of bitcoin in online casinos and physical, brick-and-mortar casinos. According to him, BSV can serve as the perfect payment option for many casinos, especially now when many Las Vegas operators have decided to try cashless options.

Nguyen went to provide some details about Bitboss, the technology he believes would allow physical casinos to adopt Bitcoin:

“So, its (sic) Bridge system uses a hardware product attached to casino slot machines, and then gives you, the player if you’re going to casino in Vegas, you load to your mobile phone a mobile wallet they’ve created, you fund the wallet with what is going to be a BSV-based token, as opposed to going and inserting money or a card into an ATM machine to get cash, or into a slot machine.”

Nguyen also mentioned the use of mobile wallets to complete transactions offline when in a physical casino. While this is definitely revolutionary, it should be noted that there are already a number of online Bitcoin casinos that have used BTC as their staple currency.

Brands such as Bitcasino, FortuneJack, 1xBit and others have already seen success in amassing a loyal following of BTC gamers. Using bitcoin in retail operations, though, could validate the payment method even more and drive growth even in the online casino sector.
