Hamster-powered Ethereum gambling arrives

A team of independent developers has created a hamster-powered gambling experience titled Mia & the Marbles.

The Ethereum ecosystem has expanded in the online gambling space with a new platform featuring hamster-powered games streamed in real-time.

Mia & the Marbles sounds like a good April Fool's joke, but it seems to be a valid project according to Cointelegraph which spoke with the developers.

The developers said that all races are provably fair, easily verifiable and not in any way tinkered with.

The team allows a hamster to randomly influence obstacles in a racetrack by spinning in a wheel and moving objects at random. Meanwhile marbles are released from one end towards the other on the race track.

Depending on the order in which the marbles end up in the hole at the end of the track, points are calculated, and results are settled.

Speaking to Cointelegraph, the developers said that they have always been fascinated with the idea of blockchain gaming projects, but the incidence of scams was high.

They believe Mia & the Marbles to be the solution to what they regard as a persistent problem.

The developers promise this is just the beginning of the project, as they are planning various contests and races in future. All provably fair of course.
