GameFi project Facana to use Unreal Engine 5 tool

The soon-to-be-launched game aims to deliver high-technology content and experiences to its players.

Blockchain-based GameFi project Farcana is utilising Epic Games’ real-time 3D creation tool, Unreal Engine 5 to bring an innovative gaming experience to its players.

By using the tool, the triple-A blockchain metaverse project aims to innovate its gaming development and pave the way for further decentralized technologies and Web 3.0 strategies.

The UAE-based company comprises two entities, Facana Studio, the method behind the game development, and Facana Labs; a decentralized research facility uniting all players, biotech developers and metaverse developers in one lab.

Facana, the play-to-earn game is scheduled to launch in Q1 2023 and will be available on both desktop and mobile systems with the view to expand onto console games for PlayStation and Xbox.

CEO and founder of Farcana Studio Ilman Shazhaev said: The blockchain gaming market is “evolving and going beyond of traditional play-to-earn model.

“Blockchain and NFT technologies are all about improved transparency and ownership, and we are building a Web3 game where players become its owners. Our team focus on fun and immersive gameplay.”
