Gala Games makes move to mobile gaming

The company’s native token GALA will be used as the platform's primary token.

Blockchain gaming platform Gala Games has announced its plans for mobile gaming.

This year, the company will move to mobile to carve out market share while initiating its four strategic pillars: sharing updates, conquering mobile, protecting utility and remaining visible.

All games within the Gala ecosystem will use the company’s native token GALA as its primary token.

The move to mobile will see web 3.0 games such as Aqua Blast and Meow Match available to gamers, the latter being the first game to integrate a monetization strategy.

The company expects to retain “high quality” and company standards while allowing players to take control of their digital assets.

The gaming platform has made valuable partnerships over the last few months, especially in 2022, when many gaming contracts ended amid the bear market.

The firm is said to have set aside more than $300m to support projects in the gaming ecosystem, out of this amount the platform has deployed 50%.

Besides partnerships with external game developers, Gala Games works with internal game developers and has since revealed its involvement with Artic 7, Gamedia and Shiver Entertainment.
