FUNToken ended Q3 with its biggest token burn to date

The company exited Q3 with a bang, and its largest token burn yet.

For the third quarter of 2022 FUNToken delivered on its commitment to bring more content, and since the launch of the XFUN Arcade, the focus on further development of the app has been crucial in extending to casual and social gaming.

The network has been working on partnering with providers such as Spinomenal and Pragmatic Play as well, in order to “enrich the content supported by FUN and XFUN tokens”.

Besides content, another great addition to the roundup for Q3 2022 was the addition of uBTC in the dPlay casino, which enabled holders to enjoy igaming without having to swap currencies.

The biggest news for Q3, however, was probably the fifth quarterly token burn. 17,451,853 FUNTokens were burned on October 1.

In comparison last quarter saw 14,468,541 tokens burned in August, this is a 20.6% increase quarter-over-quarter. FUNToken’s first burn was back in September, 2021, and covered 5 million tokens.

Completing the Q3 roundup, dPlay also saw an update to its design and user experience, and Spanish language was added to the dPlay Casino, accelerating localized token adoption.

The XFUN Casino was also launched in October, supporting four languages, and further underlining the company’s promise to make FUNToken “the world’s local Web3 gaming token”.

Thousands of players were reported to be enjoying their chances to win in tournaments or benefit from the ongoing bonuses and cashbacks.

The company is targeting the launch of its peer-to-peer sportsbook, which is powered by XFUN, this month. It should happen before the launch of FIFA World Cup in Qatar on November 20.

FUNToken also promised a “huge Football-themed campaign” around the start of the World Cup, which is said to involve all of its digital assets.

October’s monthly digest, available on the FUNToken website, also summarized its first metaverse experience with the AMA session of its chief executive officer Adriaan Brink.

It took place Pax.World’s virtual world, and 20 people apparently won $500 worth of XFUN.
