FunFair’s Purser believes blockchain is future of gambling

In a tête-à-tête with Calvin Ayre's Becky Liggero Fontana, FunFair Games COO Lloyd Purser has spoken about how blockchain can lead to better player acquisition and new generations of gamblers.

Lloyd said the blockchain revolution resonates with younger audiences plain and simple. “FunFair started in in the world of cryptocurrency and blockchain, building a casino platform that operated purely on the Ethereum blockchain”, he said.

The entire crypto/blockchain segment attracts a different type of content and according to data cited by the executive, over 85% of all consumers are younger than 40.

The demographics are easy to understand, Purser argues, as this new type of content creates new products that break away from traditional gambling bastions and engage with millennial players.

This is precisely where FunFair's own efforts lie, in attracting new demographics. FunFair is already powering CasinoFair, a trusted crypto casino, and the proprietary FUN token has recently gained 83% increase in value.
