Floating blockchain cruise ship Satoshi sells 200 cabins already

The idea sounds unorthodox and it is, but Ocean Builders COO Chad Elwartowski argues the ship is a hub where innovation happens and where crypto entrepreneurs can come together and work.

“We look forward to creating a hub for technology and innovation here in Panama. Our goal is to figure out how to live sustainably on the sea and chart new waters in this new frontier,” Elwartowski said.

The company has picked an appropriate moniker for the ship, too, naming it after the rumoured inventor of Bitcoin (BTC), Satoshi.

Anchored in the Gulf of Panama, Satoshi will offer a safe haven to anyone who wants to take blockchain innovation to the next level and work in a highly dynamic and creative environment.

By now, 200 cabins have already been sold, and each cabin goes from $25,000 to $50,000.

Entire families are welcome to come and pursue blockchain projects.

As Elwartowski puts it – the cabin is your personal space, but your living room is pretty much the rest of the ship.

This initiative may sound a little outré at first, but with 200 volunteers already signing up it makes one think if he or she isn't missing on the next big thing in crypto.
